I chose this flower as my first introduction due to the strong plant under the glowing auburn bloom. I have had as many as 35 buds on one scape, sometimes a little less but always with a high bud count. The single bloom photo shows the way one half of the petal always shines a burnished bronze in the sun, hence the name Bronzed Apollo. This cultivar is a very easy parent both ways.
