Webster's Red Knight

Selected by the late Richard Webster for future introduction. Of the four introductions, Webster's Red Knight shows the most UFO traits. Both the petals and sepals twist and twirl showing motion. Flowers are red-orange with a green throat. They rebloom several times. It has been a very good hybridizing parent. A good parent for oranges and reds. Webster's Red Knight performs more like a semi dormant for me. Such are classified between true dormants and semi evergreens. Semi Dormant daylilies seem to perform well across all of the daylily regions. This is a highly desirable trait for Northern and Southern Hybridizers.
