PURPLE CHAMELEON (James Gossard 2006)

(Cameroons x Tetra Trahlyta)  Tet 5” Dor 27” M,
Purple Chameleon as the name suggests has spots which change colors. The spots are readily seen in the morning, but unfortunately disappear by noon. Makes for an incredible show flower since the spots hold all day if picked in the morning hours. Flowers are maroon purple with darker maroon purple spots and eye zone. Flower petals also have a yellow edge, a very complex flower. As a hybridizing parent it passes on it's spots, primary parent I am using for blue spotted daylilies. Parent of several spotted unusual forms and bagel flowers.$175
